About the studio
Color Gray studio was founded in 2021 by two brothers Andrejs and Ernests to explore if they can use their many years experience in the industry to make creatively fulfilling and financially viable games. The Case of the Golden Idol is studio's first game.
About the game
The Case of the Golden Idol is a pixel art detective game where you piece together clues and reconstruct the events of a historical murder mystery, using a unique drag-and-drop evidence mechanic.
During the game you will: Explore hand-drawn locations set in the 18th century, where some mysterious deaths have taken place. Gather verbal evidence and visual clues, then apply your deduction skills to figure out what actually happened and how each victim died. Start revealing a larger overarching story that connects all the individual tales.
Latvian Game Developers Association
Founded in 2014. Latvian Game Developers Association is dedicated to growing the Latvian Games industry, encouraging corporation between Latvian game developers and educating them. The organization currently consists of 86 members including game development companies, educational institutions and independent developers.
